Heat Recovery & Energy Recovery Ventilation

ERV / HRV systems for outdoor-air heat and moisture recovery.

Overview

Energy-recovery and heat-recovery ventilation packages for outdoor-air conditioning duty. Wheel, plate, and run-around configurations are selected against the project’s outdoor-air load, climate, cross-contamination policy, and controls strategy.

Technical selection

ERV / HRV selection is scoped to the project’s outdoor-air load profile and climate — not to a preferred wheel or plate technology. Cross-contamination policy and defrost strategy are reviewed against the mechanical narrative before a submittal is issued.

Scope of SANA USA support

  • Outdoor-air load and climate review
  • Recovery-technology selection against project drivers
  • Cross-contamination and defrost strategy review
  • Applicable US listings confirmed per selection
  • Submittals and warranty coordination

Cut sheets, performance curves, BIM models, and technical documentation are provided against a specific selection once the project scope is defined.

Information for technical selection

Share supply and exhaust airflow, design indoor and outdoor conditions, operating hours, exhaust-air classification, available space, allowable pressure drop and control requirements. Include cross-contamination constraints and any frost-protection or bypass requirements.

Email your equipment RFQ or upload your equipment schedule. For cut sheets, performance data, drawings or certificates, request the documents needed for your proposed selection; availability and applicable product/model compliance are confirmed for that selection.

Airflow, sensible and latent recovery performance, pressure drop, leakage or carryover data, frost-control performance, dimensions, electrical requirements and controls interfaces are issued with the selected configuration.

Applicable Standards, Certifications & Test Requirements

Applicable standards, certifications, and test requirements vary by product and project. Final requirements are confirmed as part of the equipment selection and project submittal.
